Today is my mom's birthday. Since we tried to have a couple of "Christmas in July" craft dates, I thought I'd make her a Christmas-themed gift. (We tried, but we ended up spending two days chasing after her new "grandson": a chihuahua named Cujo.)
Here's the ornament I made her.
It's from a pattern by Sandy Bard Designs. There were some seriously tiny stitches in this and I am not that gifted in the fine hand-manipulation department.
I also made a box for it with my Cricut "Forever Young" cartridge.
Sooooo flippin' cute! I hope she likes it. I'm off to get her a tiny cake and to spend the day with her.
This is such a nice Christmas themed gift.Your self made box is also good and of course your mother would like it.I think that self made gifts are always precious.
